Mr Frankie Chan, an experienced director and solor of Hong Kong, is renowned of his situational comedies, romantic comedies, and action comedies. With Mr. Wang Fu Ling (One of his films is "Ever Lasting Love") as his teacher, Chan started learning film score at the age of 14. In the year 1981, Chan set up his own company "Always Good Film Company Limited", with "Carrying Pickpocket", directed and acted by Mr. Samuno Hung, starring Mr. Frankie Chan, as the founding film. In Wong's films "Chungking Express", "Fallen Angels", and "Ashes of Time", Chan has assised him in composing and arranging music. In 1996, with the film "Fallen Angels", Chan has won the "Best Movie Theme Music Awards" in the Hong Kong Film Academy Awards". Throughout the years, Chan has participated in directing, producing, and acting for more than 20 films. In 1997, he had his first experience in television program production. He directed, produced, and played the male leading role in a 40 1-hour episode drama series call "The Last Tango in Shanghai". Chan has recently finished shooting and edutaining film, "IQ Dudettes". The film reflects the problems of youngsters. It is all about love, families and friendship. As the director of Mr. Jackie Chan's film, "The Giant", Chan is now busy with the preparation works of the above film. |
