The Negotiator: The Movie

An unknown group seizes 260 million yen from a cash delivery truck and takes hostages in a shopping mall. As soon as Reiko Usagi of the Metropolitan Police Special Investigations Team (SIT) begins negotiating with the perpetrators, a gunshot sounds and the line is cut. The group leader, Keiichiro Mido, has ruthlessly shot one of his men, and begins a commentary on social injustice, citing John Lennon’s assassin Mark Chapman as an example. By the time SIT breaks in, a bomb is detonated and accomplice Shinya Nakagawa escapes in the chaos. Only Mido and the cash are left behind.

Several weeks later, Reiko is at Haneda Airport ready for a long overdue holiday, when she spots a young man, Yusuke Kimoto, who she recognizes as one of the hostages. Sensing something is amiss, Reiko discovers that Kimoto has boarded a flight to Hokkaido under a false name and instinctively jumps on the same flight. Just after take-off, the plane is hijacked. Under the codename “Mark Chapman”, Nakagawa contacts SIT from the cockpit, demanding Mido’s release. The time limit is one hour, after which he will kill one passenger a minute until his demand is met. Held hostage 10,000 meters in the sky with no means of communication with SIT, Reiko must find a way to negotiate with the hijackers and save the lives of everyone on board.

Chiaki (Hiroshi Tamaki) has just won the prestigious Platini International Music Competition leading to his being named new conductor for the Le Marlet Orchestra. The 4 operas in Der Ring Cycle include a prelude and a trilogy. Each part can be appreciated as a grand work on its own. Das Rheingold is the prelude of Der Ring des Nibelungen, the epic tetralogy music drama of Richard Wagner.

Das Rheingold provides the background of the beginning of the story when the gold in the river Rhein is stolen by a dwarf from Nibelung who has made it the Ring, which grants one the power to rule the universe, if he renounces love. The King of gods, Wotan, is building his fortress Valhalla and promised to offer goddess Freia as the prize to the builders, the giants Fasolt and Fafner, but when the Ring appears, the giants agree to take the Ring instead of Freia, and the fight for the Ring begins.

This music drama is about love, lust and power, even the Gods want to own the Ring and the challenges and complications begin.

Der Ring des Nibelungen, the epic tetralogy music drama of Richard Wagner, the most colossal undertaking in the history of operatic composition, was written by Wagner over a period of 26 years from 1848 to 1874, he attempted to remake both heaven and earth in his own image, and to change the world with his arts. The production is the live performance in Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, with top Wagnerian artists and the cutting edge group La Fura dels Baus, conducted by Zubin Mehta.

The King of gods, Wotan with a mortal woman have given birth to two children, Siegmund and Sieglinde, who didn’t know they are brother and sister and have fallen in love. Wotan’s wife Fricka who is the goddess of marriage is outraged and Wotan is forced to agree that Siegmund must die in his fight with Hunding, Sieglinde’s husband.

Wotan explains his dilemma to Brunnhilde, the leader of the Valkyries. Having known the genuine feeling of Wotan and also moved by their love, instead of helping Wotan to shield Hunding, she rebels and shields Siegmund, which makes Wotan to intervene and both are killed. The furious Wotan penalized Brunnhilde by locking her in fire and puts her in deep sleep on the rock. Only the bravest man can save and rescue her and to marry her.

A sad ending but when it is realized that Sieglinde is pregnant, it signals the arrival of a hero to a new era.

Der Ring des Nibelungen, the epic tetralogy music drama of Richard Wagner, the most colossal undertaking in the history of operatic composition, was written by Wagner over a period of 26 years from 1848 to 1874, he attempted to remake both heaven and earth in his own image, and to change the world with his arts. The production is the live performance in Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, with top Wagnerian artists and the cutting edge group La Fura dels Baus, conducted by Zubin Mehta.

The sworn brothers become sworn enemies and Shek’s hatred fuels intense rivalry against Ha in business dealings ranging from the manufacture of plastic flowers to the selling of stinky bean curd. Even after 40 years they continue to clash and in 2010 they are in keen competition selling electronics appliances in Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mongkok, the busiest street in the city and still home to the 72 tenants.

Hanna

Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) is 16 years old. She is bright, inquisitive, and a devoted daughter. Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) and Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) were once childhood friends. They die trying to save a drunk who falls onto subway tracks. In the next instant, they are teleported to a strange apartment. In the room, there is a big black sphere with an unusually powerful presence, and surrounding it are Suzuki (Tomorowo Taguchi) and some other people.

Suddenly, round slices of a human body appear in front of the confused Kurono and Kato. The slices combine and form into a naked woman, Kishimoto (Natsuna).

It appears that Kurono and Kato have been teleported to this room in the same fashion. In this room with no exit, GANTZ enlists them on a mission that will allow them to go back to their own world. And the mission is to battle and exterminate aliens.

They are summoned by GANTZ and sent out to fight aliens without knowing why. They also have no idea how to use the weapons they're given or the suits that give them superhuman strength. With information given to them by a GANTZ veteran, a high school boy named Nishi (Kanata Hongo), Kurono and Kato manage to survive. Once the alien is killed, they're called back to an apartment where their performance is evaluated. They learn that earning 100 points will allow them to leave the GANTZ dimension or resurrect any player they choose. After the evaluation, they are sent back to their regular lives, until the next mission.

They return to their lives temporarily but they're actually dead...

The event has taken in 1911. Huang Xin (Jackie Chan) and Sun Yat Sun (Winston Chao) are the leaders of the revolution for fighting for the people with better life. It's, therefore, they gathered together and formed an association (Tung Meng Hui) for the purpose of against the deteriorated Qing Dynasty. There are 2 uprisings to fight against the royal troops. The first one was held in Quangzhou in April 1911. The revolutionists attacked the Governor Office but was totally failed for the reason of without adequate supply of ammunition. A huge number of the revolutionists were sacrified. There were 72 corps found and buried in the place of Huang Fa Gong.

In October of the same year, another uprising in Wu Cheong was set. The royal army rebelled and led by Zhang Zhen Wu (Jaycee Chan). They have successfully occupied three towns in Hu Han, seized the control of Hu Bei province. At that time, the Empress appointed Yuan Shi Kai and his picked soldiers to fight back immensely. Huang then commanded the Defended troop, resisted for one month then followed with success. 14 Provinces declared independence. Sun was back and appointed as the temporary President who alleged to give away the position to the one who convinced the Qing Royal to surrender. Yuan has succeeded to do so and got the authority.

It then ended the 268 years of the Reign of the Qing Dynasty and 2000 years of monarchy. The Republic was then founded.
